To provide the Social Finance team with access to extensive commercial and financial skills and experience, a Social Finance Advisory Council has been formed.
We are grateful for the support of these individuals who generously provide their guidance and advice.
This Council comprises:
- Michael Price (Chair) – Executive Director and Chair, Specialised Investment Solutions within Macquarie Group.
- Robin Crawford – Founding Director of Macquarie Bank and philanthropist. Chair of GoodStart Childcare Ltd.
- Chris Cuffe – Director of Third Link Investment Managers. Chair of UniSuper. Former CEO of wealth management organisations Colonial First State and Challenger Financial Services Group.
- Toby Hall – Chief Executive of Mission Australia, a major community services organisation with a 150 year history. Director of GoodStart Childcare Ltd.
- David Jones – Executive Director of Better Place. Former Managing Director, CHAMP Private Equity. Director of a number of commercial and non-profit organisations.
- Ian Learmonth – Executive Director of Social Finance at Social Ventures Australia. Former Executive Director of Macquarie Group, specialising in corporate advisory and asset financing.
- Michael Traill AM - Founding CEO of Social Ventures Australia. Vice-Chair of Goodstart Early Learning. Co-founder and former Executive Director of Macquarie Group’s private equity arm.
- Shemara Wikramanayake – Group Head of Macquarie Funds Group within Macquarie Group.
