Who We Are SVA is a non-profit organisation established in 2002 by The Benevolent Society, The Smith Family, WorkVentures and AMP Foundation. Their vision for this bold new initiative: to enhance Australia’s social fabric by developing innovative and entrepreneurial social programs into sustainable, high impact social ventures. SVA's Mission:
 Improve the knowledge of non-profit sector participants and share best practices
Ensure that the most innovative, effective ideas and social entrepreneurs flourish
SVA has no religious or political affiliations. We have Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status and therefore donations to SVA are tax deductible. You can verify our DGR status on the Australian Business Register web site. Our activities focus on, but are not limited to, the areas of young people, Indigenous community building, ageing, employment and the environment.
