Building on the success of our 5th year celebration last year, SVA hosted the 2008 circle lunch on Friday 6 June 2008 in Sydney.
Over 400 business and community leaders packed the ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel. They were treated to amazing stories of hope and success from some of the people who have benefitted from the incredible work of the non-profit ventures in SVA’s portfolio. These inspiring individuals were also joined by keynote speaker Dr Peter Shergold AC, Chief Executive of the Centre for Social Impact, who shared his insights on how we can better work together to increase the impact of Australia's non-profit sector.
Thanks to the generous contribution of supporters, we raised a remarkable $360,000 on the day from SVA's Text Messaging Pledge-Ometer. This will go to support the work we do in our focus areas.
