Michael Traill AM Chief Executive |
Michael joined SVA as founding CEO in 2002 after 15 years as a co-founder and Executive Director of Macquarie Group’s private equity arm, Macquarie Direct Investment.
Michael is Vice Chair of Goodstart Early Learning and a Director of MLC Private Equity, MH Carnegie & Co and the Opera Australia Capital Fund. He holds a BA (Hons) from Melbourne University and an MBA from Harvard University.

In 2006, after more than 20 years of experience in building successful wealth management practices at Colonial First State Investments and Challenger Financial Services Group, Chris joined SVA as an Executive Director. Chris held this position until May 2009, at which point he became Chair, SVA Future Trust.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of Finsia. He is also Chair of UniSuper Limited and a Director of Arkx Investment Management.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of NSW and a Diploma from the Securities Institute of Australia.
